Hi, I’m Kelly St. Claire—The Silver Coach.
I’m a grey-blending and transition specialist, educator, and advocate for heart-centered salon experiences. With over two decades behind the chair, I’ve helped countless clients move from uncertainty to self-acceptance through soft, customized color that celebrates their natural beauty.
As the creator of The MAP Method, I teach stylists a simple, confidence-building approach to grey blending that focuses on clarity, artistry, and intention—so they can stop second-guessing and start creating blends that truly fit each client.
Through The Silver Coach, I blend technical mastery with soul-centered mentorship, helping stylists build sustainable, fulfilling careers rooted in compassion and creativity.
When I’m not teaching or behind the chair, you’ll find me exploring watercolor and mixed media art—or relaxing at home with my Great Pyrenees and three quirky cats.
Why I Created The Silver Coach
I created The Silver Coach because I saw something missing in our industry.
Stylists are taught formulas and techniques—but not how to feel confident using them, or how to connect with clients in a way that truly matters.
After years behind the chair, specializing in grey blending and transitions, I realized that what women really needed wasn’t just a new color plan—it was a guide. Someone who could meet them where they were, listen without judgment, and help them see that beauty isn’t lost when the silvers come in—it’s evolving.
And I saw that stylists needed that same kind of support, too.
That’s why I created The Silver Coach and developed The MAP Method—a simple, confidence-building way to plan and create grey blends with clarity and heart. It’s about knowing where to start, trusting your artistry, and remembering why you fell in love with this work in the first place.
At its core, The Silver Coach is about helping stylists and clients feel seen, capable, and at peace with change. Because when you lead with heart, your work—and your life—both shine a little brighter.
